Isabella Bordoni


1962, lebt in Rimini.
Dichterin, Dramatikerin, Schauspielerin und Regisseurin. Ihre Texte wurden in Theaterstücken, Konzerten, Opern, Installationen, Lesungen, im Radio und im Fernsehen in Europa, Nordamerika und im Nahen Osten aufgeführt und als Bücher und Zeitschriften publiziert.

In ihren Arbeiten widmet sie sich einer Sprache zwischen Poesie und Philosophie. Sie übersetzt ihre Texte in andere Sprachen, um ihre Bedeutung zu erweitern. In enger Zusammmenarbeit mit Musikern (u.a.: David Moss, Stefano Scodanibbio, Llorenc Barber) entwickelt sie ein Projekt über die "Gesprochene Dichtung". Sie arbeitet oft mit digitaler Technik, Medien und Telekommunikationssystemen.

1985 gründete sie - zusammen mit Roberto Paci Dalò - Giardini Pensili, einen Verlag und Kunstverein. 1987 erhielt sie ein Stipendium der Djerassi Foudation, San Francisco. Eine Auswahl ihrer Arbeiten: Sentieri Segreti (1985), Temporale (1989), Paesaggio con figure (1990), Niemandsland (1992), Many Many Voices (1995), Co-Autorin des Projektes Realtime - einer Gemeinschaftsproduktion des ORF und des Vereins TRANSIT.

Poet, actress, director. She presented her texts in theatre pieces, concerts, operas, installations, lectures and radioworks as well as in books and magazines throughout Europe, the Middle East and North America. (Ars Electronica, Linz; Hebbel-Theater, Berlin; Museum Moderner Kunst, Wien; de Singel, Antwerp; Fundacio Joan Miró, Barcelona etc.) In 1987 she was artist-in-residence at the Djerassi Foundation, San Francisco. Her radio-pieces were produced by ORF and RAI. In her-work-in progress on the "orality of poetry" she uses the translation in many different languages as a strategy and collaborates with artists and philosophers like David Moss, Stefano Scodanibbio, Llorenc Barber, Guido Guidi, Giorgio Agamben and others. In her work she defines a territory between poetry, fiction and philosophy. Bordoni often works with digital technology, media and telecommunication systems. In 1985, together with Roberto Paci Dalò, she founded Giardini Pensili, a theatre company, publishing house and art centre. Among her works: "Sentieri Segreti" (1985), "Tempo-rale" (1989), "Paesaggio con figure" (1990), "Niemandsland" (1992), Many Many Voices (1995), Co-author of the telematic radio- and TV-project "Realtime" (1993).
