Gustavo Petek uses self-recorded analog sounds, a guitar and a notebook computer to create music. In Buenos Aires, where he was born, began his studies in art and photography and played guitar in different undergrounds bands. In 2002 moved to Barcelona, while still working in the field of photography he studied sound engineering, sound production and started working as sound technician. Since 2009 lives in Vienna, where he starts experimenting more and more with sound design and different approaches to stage situations including dance and performance. In 2016 starts the music label smallforms, focused on contemporary music forms.
