With their performance "Timelapse" the Italian artists Davide Tosco and Marco Palmieri try to perceive the - actually undefinable and variable - conception of time occuring during a non-event.
At the RP4 studio of the Funkhaus in Vienna they have therefore made a set-up including an old analogue clock; this isn't placed at the center of their actions, but in a small adjoining room. This allows them to create a kind of spacial-acoustic distance. Two shortwave radios overcome geographical distances - as they transmit sounds and voices from around the world. As a further sonic component, also the voices of people calling in as well as the recorded voices talking to you on telephone hotlines and information services are interwoven into the piece.
