speaking of finding a common structure, I would suggest to think of it as building a bridge over a river: the river is like what there is now: all the participating artists with their ideas, their work, and so on... then: the first step of building this bridge is to erect a pillar, and then another one, and then another one. The pillars could be thought like our solo- performances. then: building up the crossway over and between the pillars, so that there is really a bridge you can walk upon etc. This is thought as the common work we present. So in this sense, the crossway is at the same time a link between the solo performances (=pillars) and a new piece built up out of them.
