Sound architect, co-founder of the group ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT (1987), founder of the ALL.QUIET Label/Operating System (1996).

In 1998 he formed together with Tom Sherman the recording/performance duo NERVE THEORY .
He studied Computer Engineering at the University of Technology and Sound Engineering at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. A participant in numerous projects and festivals for electronic and media art he cooperates with Austrian and international artists.
He works in different areas of digital sound and creates radio pieces, recordings, online projects and installations. He also performs live on a regular basis.
The constant factor in his work is the use of sampling and computer technology, the oscillation between deconstruction and construction that characterizes these media. His interest in theoretical matters around art & technology is also a reoccurring pattern in his work.
He lives and works in London.
