REAL AUDIO

Radio on demand

Finally the way to broadcast via the Internet. Its a very new software and it allows to broadcast audiosignals via Internet also on low bandwidth. The quality is of course rather poor like telephone but its broadcasting and its a pretty good (and very cheap) way to send and receive "all over the world".

So everybody who can get hold of an Internet-Server, maybe at the radio station or at a University at a Company etc. could set up the Server-Software which means he/she could send out program.

For receiving you don't need a Server it only needs a computer which is connected to the Internet (it even works with 14400 dialup lines)
