horizontal radio is a communication project.

The metaphor should be the journey, the migration, the permigration.

The different technical sound qualities resulting thereby are to become creative means as well as navigational aids. They also serve to acoustically identify the contributor.

Participation in the form of public audience events should be encouraged. Interfaces on which the production and performance place "radio" opens itself up so that exterior media like picture-phones, video etc. can be incorporated

The information fed into the network (and with it the listener) proceeds through:

• Various levels of its technical reproduction
• Various levels of interactive and creative editing (manipulation)
• The geographic space delineated by the transmitting frequencies of the participating radio stations

A journey, however, also through different clusters of content which are contributed by the participating stations, which therefore, appearing as hosts, temporarily become the centre of the network.

Meeting points according to which the action focuses on certain regions of the network. Idea of a dynamic coincidence and equivalence.
