"Duet was constructed by cutting two different, commercially released LPs in half and gluing one to the other to produce a playable disc. There were many cut and paste experiments as the final sound quality and listenability were a concern. My audio criteria, a high pitched male voice and a low pitched female voice were influenced by a variety of pop phenomena; an inordinate number of male soprano and falsetto voices in pop music, the pairing of Sonny & Cher with their visual and vocal gender confusion, the duet in general and in particular the improbable bursts into song of bickering lovebirds in American musical films and magical realism, the Brazilian version." (B. G.)

Duet was also in Audio Scene. and was published in the MAG Magazin.
