At the end of the 70ies the then very young Australian artist Dale Frank visited Europe and stayed for a while in Vienna. Here he worked on audio-cassette-pieces, which were then published as issue nr.7 of the MAG Magazin (Modern Art Gallery, Vienna). After this Dale Frank soon became a well known representative of "New Painting".
