In 1976 CCMC founded the Music Gallery in Toronto. CCMC was at the same time the board of directors and the "house-band" of this gallery. They played there each Tuesday and Friday.

The Music Gallery with its performance- and production-spaces was a place of refuge from the pressures of both the art- and music-system/market. The program of the Music-Gallery also contained dance-performances. At the end of the 70ies the magazine Musicworks was produced on the premises of the Music Gallery. From 1983 on the Music Gallery had its own radio-program on CKLN, Toronto.

CCMC begründete 1976 die Music Gallery in Toronto. CCMC bestand einerseits aus dem Board of Directors der Galerie und war andererseits deren Haus-Band, die jeweils Dienstags und Freitags in der Galerie spielte. Die Music Gallery mit ihrem Performanceraum und Produktionsstudio verstand sich als Ort der Zuflucht vor den Zwängen des Kunstbetriebs und Kunstmarktes. Im Programm fanden sich neben den zahlreichen Musikperformances auch Tanzperformances. Die Zeitschrift Musicworks wurde Ende der 70er Jahre ebenfalls dort produziert. CCMC absolvierte internationale Tourneen / u.a. nach Österreich / und wurde z.B. als artist-in-residence zum renommierten Holland-Festival eingeladen, wo die Gruppe nicht nur konzertierte sondern auch ausstellte. Ab 1983 hatte die Music Gallery auch ein wöchentliches Radioprogramm auf CKLN, Toronto.
