gl^tch.bot is a sound robot.
gl^tch.bot ingests, digests and regurgitates audio matter in a randomised composite. The resulting compound is being streamed live and is accessible amid the Immersive Sound installation in Bregenz Austria untill August 15 1998. The gl^tch.bot material is being compiled from the contributions of a group of globally dispersed auditects .

  • Andrew Garton (Australia) - Andrew Garton is a digital artist who utilises the Internet, radio and live performance of generative sound works to explore the dynamics of public information flow. Andrew is the Creative Director of Toy Satellite.
  • Zina Kaye (Australia) - Zina Kaye is a new media artist and writer who uses communications technologies, and in particular the internet, to muse on the nature of metaphysical boundaries and the secret life of the airwaves. Arguing that the internet is the new radio, she has begun to broadcast her own test transmissions using cold war surveillance tools to generate content. She also knows something about the Anti_Destination Society.
