During his time at the college he also came into contact eith the highly creative environment of the newly founded electronic music studio in Stockholm (EMS) with Lars Gunnar Bodin and Miklos Maros as instructors. With his experience as a professional musician he was able to explore and develop his own artistic language.

Tommy Zwedberg has composed both instrumental and electroacoustic music. Notable in his production are works combinig music with other media: film, music drama and modern dance.
Since 1984 he has collaborated with the noted Swedish choreographer Efva Lilja.
