Dan Tapper is
an experimental sound artist whose work is informed by a desire to
explore the relationships between sound, art, and nature. Hailing from
London, England, he uses field recording techniques to compose
soundscapes that reflect aspects of the environment as well as
studio-produced sonic art pieces based around central themes such as
movement and spatiality. His current projects include explorations into
VLF recording, interactive multimedia patchwork, and auditory
geographies through 5.1 surround sound. Dan is currently traveling
around North America making a collection of field recordings to use as
inspiration for upcoming work. Sendungen im ORF KUNSTRADIO: 27. 04. 2014: Radius |
