Mike Rosoft is Attila Kenyeres whose main inspiration is ambient though he has a much wider interest in music. When he was a teenager, just like many others, he made techno music with his friends in Siófok (the so-called capital of Balaton), and he kept making cassettes for himself.
One of these was heard accidentally by Mesterházy, one of the leaders of the Syrup collective who was planning to start a netlabel. He encouraged Attila to make an album for Syrup.
Based on An Hour, Mike Rosoft was invited to play on Club Transmediale festival, so after just a few performances in Hungary (and none in Budapest), he played live in Berlin.

Mike Rosoft makes music on an Apple computer, building loops from sounds of different sources; but he doesn't use these according to the rules of the conventional loop-based music. The result is something that might be called abstract ambient, full of small and beautiful ideas.
