Perla Olivia
Rodríguez Reséndiz is a Mexican teacher, researcher and
radio producer. She has been involved in different activities related
to education and sound. She graduated is a PhD candidate in
Information Sciences at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. She
contributed in the creation of the Fonoteca Nacional (Mexico). She
worked as Director of Promotion and Dissemination of Sound in this
institution.
She has designed and produced radio and television series and
multimedia with educational and cultural purposes; as well, she created
and coordinated audiovisual documentation on the formation and training
programmes nationally and internationally, both in presence and on line.
She was the Production Sub director in Radio Educación and
coordinated the Experimental Sound Art Laboratory (LEAS), as well as
the tests of digital radio transmissions in the Digital Radio Mondiale
system. During this period she, also organized the Forth and Fifth
International Radio Biennial.
Furthermore, UNESCO, Swiss Commission, invited her to participate in
the expert meeting of the Digial Divide conference. She was a speaker
at the First International Radio Forum organized by the IRIB
(International Radio Broadcasting of Iran).
