Marc Parisotto


Born in Marseille in 1957, lives in Munich. Studied electro-acoustic music at the Conservatoire de musique de Marseille. Has worked for diverse private theaters and sound performances in Germany. Sound operator on the European tour of Bob Wilson’s play The Kneeplays (1985). Subsequently decided to go into film sound.

Since 1986 Film sound engineer. Has worked with directors like Michael Haneke, Hans-Christian Schmid, Heiner Stadler, Benjamin Heisenberg, Philip Gröning, and Edgar Reitz.

2006 Film Prize of the Federal Republic of Germany for Best Sound Engineering (Requiem by Hans-Christian Schmid)

2010 Austrian Film Prize for Best Sound Engineering ( The Robber by Benjamin Heisenberg)
