| (1972). Artist and producer based in Quito, Ecuador.
Member of Centro Experimental Oido Salvaje, a platform for radio art
research and sound art production created on 1996. He has worked in
projects and events for small town communities and public urban spaces;
satellite, web and air radio broadcasting with low technologies and
frontier strategies. Published 15 compilations on book, CD, DVD and
web-download of video art, sound art, tradicional music, poetry and
critical writing. Cueva won the 1st prize of III Bienal Latinoamericana
de Radio Mexico 2000 and the Paris Prize of the IX Bienal Internacional
de Cuenca 2007. In 2010, received a grant of the Prince Claus
Foundation. Also is involved in non-disciplinar teaching, public
performances and soundtracks for installations and experimental films. |
