  • is an award winning composer, producer and writer. His range of innovative works extends from numerous albums (including the much-celebrated Bodily Functions) to film scores for Oscar-winning movies (A Fantastic Woman) as well as music for the theatre, Broadway, TV, games, radio, opera and installations. He is most known for working with sound, turning ordinary or so-called found sound into electronic music. His most celebrated work ONE PIG followed the life of a pig from birth to plate and beyond and debuted at the Royal Opera House. He is the creative director of the new Radiophonic Workshop for the BBC and set up the Oram Awards, The Sound of The Year Awards and the Radiophonic Travel Agency. His debut play The Hush was performed at the National Theatre and his debut book called The Music was published in 2018. He has a PhD in composition entitled ‘Listen while you work’ about ethics and is an artistic researcher at Canterbury Christ Church University.
