Antye Greie-Ripatti is a digital songwriter, electronic musician, sound artist, composer, poet, curator, educator and public speaker.
She is also known as Laub, AGF and poemproducer.
Born 1969, raised in East Germany, she lives and works in Hailuoto, Finland since 2008. Her work emphasizes the relationship between language, sound, voice and communication, which is expressed in music, audiovisual live performances, digital communication, sound installations, commissions for movies and theater, exhibitions and conceptual works.
Greie-Ripatti has released 30 long player records and numerous collaborations under such aliases as AGF, AGF/Delay (with Vladislav Delay), Greie Gut Fraktion (with Gudrun Gut), and The Lappetites (with Kaffe Matthews and Eliane Radigue), many collaborations with the award-winning classical composer Craig Armstrong.
She runs the production company and music label AGF PRODUCKTION and has produced records for other artists most famously for Ellen Allien (SOOL, 2009, BPitch).
In 2011 Greie-Ripatti founded the arts organization Hai Art in Hailuoto and practices as artistic director, executive producer and workshop leader.
Since 2014 she works as independent curator.
Other projects include the German electronic duo Laub, The Lappetites, AGF/ DELAY (with Vladislav Delay), THE DOLLS (Vladislav Delay and Craig Armstrong) and Zavoloka/AGF, collaborations with Craig Armstrong, Ellen Allien, Gudrun Gut, Eliane Radigue, Kaffe Matthews, Rupert Huber, TBA aka Natalie Beridze.
In 2004 AGF won an Award of Distinction at the 2004 Ars Electronica festival. AGF was on the cover of the XLR8R in 2004 and Cover of the Wire magazine UK 2006.
