Veronika Dreier, born 1954 - media and object artist, works with the well-known images of mass production and mass media of daily life. One priority, already in the mid-70's, was a discussion of the position of women and their representation in public. 1982 founding of the feminist cultural magazine "Eva & Co" and the female artist association of the same name. Numerous exhibitions both at home and abroad. 2000: "Mahnmal" (memorial), first public sculpture in Germany condemning violence against women, Regensburg; 1997-98 founding and setting-up of the project "KUNST://ABSEITS VOM NETZ" ("Art://Away from the System").
