Marija Bozinovska Jones studied Art in London, she lives and works in London and Berlin. Her practice revolves around the technocapitalist condition and challenged ontological axiomatics of cognition, affection and memory.
Jones overcomes geopolitical complexities and representations by flattening out global symbols with the intention of challenging utopian visions of modernity past, present and future. She proposes fictional non-places to reflect on the landscapes of collective imaginary coupled with simulated contingencies: virtual futures, hybrid identities and hypothetical landscapes.
