PLAY| The ​work consists of two
pieces by composers Dario Sanfilippo (IT)
and Peter Kutin (AT). They both explore feedback
configurations as compositional elements but each one follows a very
specific strategy. While Kutin realised his piece E# (pronounced
“ICE”) directly in a glacier gap, in cooperation with
composer Florian Kindlinger, Dario Sanfilippo used an entirely
digital environment with positive feedback networks as a metaphor for
chain-reactions found in combustion or freezing phenomena to
create the sonic materials that he then organised. |
