| Phonart is a cultural
network project, which was launched in 2010 and will continue until the
end of April 2012. The network is part-financed by the EU Culture fund. The partners involved are Enterprise Z from Austria, RingRing Festival from Belgrade, and mamapapa from Prague. The Croatian partners, Mani D.O.O., are based in Istria and are responsible for the radio piece Phonart Radio Network. The programme consists of live stream signals from each of the partner countries. Zahra Mani, composer and sound artist, will be mixing the Phonart Radio Network piece live from Radio Pula's studio. The piece that Radio Pula's listener's will hear consists of Zahra Mani's own radio work composed especially as a contribution to this evening's network project, entering into dialogue with live and pre-recorded music, performance and poetry coming from the partner studios, ORF Ö1 Kunstradio in Vienna, Radio Belgrade in Serbia and CRo3-Vltava in Prague. Four different versions of the same piece will be broadcast in realtime in the four cities, and in the internet, using the the radio as a communicative cultural platform and broadcasting medium beyond borders.
