„Personal
Radio“ is the title of both the radio art series curated by
Jupitter-Larsen and of the third part of it, Damion Romero’s
contribution. Romero lives in Los Angeles, just like the other artists
participating in the project, trying to give a particular LA-coined
view of current and future radio and the role that art might have in
analyzing the medium and contributing to its program.
With his
piece, Damion Romero experiments with resonate space, feedbacks and
noise: “With self made hybrid electronic-acoustic instruments in
combination with sound amplification systems I aim to create an
interesting, visceral and complex experience for the listener by using
low frequencies.”
