As part of its series “Listening Proposals”, Kunstradio presents “Ma Ke” by Frano Durovic. The Croatian composer works with electronic and electro-acoustic music, but also with installations and various multimedia projects.

Durovic calls the radio piece “Ma Ke”, that was produced for the Croatian Broadcasting Company Hrvatska Radiotelevizija, an audio mosaic: it contains sound material such as an old recording of a lullaby sung by Pave Orepic from 1962, but also sounds of fire and stones.

“Listening Proposals” introduces current productions of radio art by public national broadcasting companies. These are members of the European Broadcasting Union EBU or of its Ars Acustica group.
