Das vielschichtige Kommunikationsprojekt, das anhand der Saatkrähe das Thema Migration behandelt und in Zusammenarbeit mit verschiedenen KünstlerInnen realisiert wird, umfasst on site in St. Petersburg eine Video- und Soundinstallation in den Schaufenstern des Quo Vadis Internet Cafés, eine Radioversion für die heutige Kunstradio-Sendung sowie unterschiedliche on line Komponenten.

Im Funkhaus im Studio RP4 kann man bereits ab 19.00 Uhr via Internetstream die Diskussionsveranstaltung "Zeit der Migration: Psychostruktur von Nomaden" mitverfolgen, die im Philospohy Café in St. Petersburg stattfindet.
Die Radioversion von Sans Frontières vereint die Radioarbeit von Robert Adrian X und Martin Leitner mit einer Live-Performance des russischen Künstlers Dmitry Shubin, der seine Arbeit via Internet on air schickt, und improvisierte Live-Interaktionen aus dem Radiostudio RP4 in Wien und dem Internet Café in St. Petersburg zum Thema Migration und Krähen.
Die Radioarbeit von Robert Adrian X und Martin Leitner basiert auf Audioaufnahmen von in Wien überwinternden Krähen, die zu Beginn dieses Jahres gemacht wurden.
Für Sans Frontières wird Dmitry Shubin einen Soundmix aus Alltagsgeräuschen und Krähenschreien machen, wobei auch Bildmaterial für die Soundproduktion mithilfe einer speziellen Software herangezogen wird.

Zu Gast im Wiener Funkhaus werden unter anderen die aus St. Petersburg stammende Künstlerin Anna Jermolaewa, Alexander Felch und Gertrude Moser-Wagner anwesend sein. Anna Jermolaewa wird beispielsweise die Medien Radio und Internet nutzen, um aus Wien Grüsse an ihre ehemalige Heimatstadt zu schicken, während Gertrude Moser-Wagner mit Video- und Soundmaterial aus Krakau der Krähe ihre Aufmerksamkeit widmet. Alexander Felch wird sowohl auf akustischer als auch auf visueller Ebene Links zwischen Wien und Russland herstellen, die den Begriff Familie im Kontext aktueller wie historischer Migrationsbewegungen thematisieren.
Darüberhinaus sind auch Interessierte aus dem Publikum eingeladen, sich an der Interaktion zu beteiligen.

This multi-layered communications project which deals with the phenomenon of migration by referring to Rooks and is realized in collaboration with various artists enfolds itself in an on site video and sound installation at the Quo Vadis Internet Café in St. Petersburg as well as in a special radio mix and in different on line components.

At the Funkhaus in Vienna, in the studio RP4, already from 7 p.m. onwards an audience can follow a discussion on the theme of The Time of Migration which is held at the Philosophy Café in St. Petersburg via live stream.
The radio version of the Sans Frontières project combines a radio work by Robert Adrian X and Martin Leitner with a live performance of the Russian artist Dmitry Shubin who will send his piece on air via the internet, and improvised live interactions from the studio RP4 in Vienna and the Internet Café in St. Petersburg - all dealing with the topic of migration resp. Rooks.
The radio piece by Robert Adrian X and Martin Leitner is based on audio material recorded at the beginning of the year, of rooks which migrated to Vienna for the winter months.
Dmitry Shubin will make a sound mix using everyday sounds and the calls of rooks, as well as sounds which are generated by visual material using a special software.

Guests at the studio in Vienna are, amongst others, video artist Anna Jermolaewa who grew up in St. Petersburg as well as Alexander Felch and Gertrude Moser-Wagner.
Anna Jermolaewa will use the media radio and internet to send greetings from Vienna to her hometown St. Petersburg whilst Gertrude Moser-Wagner will focus on the migrant rook and hook it up with video and sound material from Krakau; Alexander Felch will create links between Vienna and Russia on an acoustic as well as visual level which deal with the concept of the family within the context of present and historical migration movements.
Besides these guests, also the audience is invited to contribute to this interaction.
